AI use and ad honestyLast updated October 21, 2026.

ClipJazz uses AI to help you make short video ads for your store. AI is useful. It can also fool people if it is used the wrong way. This page explains what is AI in your ad, what is real, and the rules we follow so your ads stay honest.

What is real and what is AI

UGC means "user-generated content." It usually means a real customer filming themselves. ClipJazz ads borrow that casual style, but they are not made by your customers. So:

Why: In the US, the FTC says a testimonial must come from someone who really used the product. In Canada, the Competition Act says you can only publish a testimonial that a real person actually gave or approved in writing. An AI voice has never used your product, so it cannot give a real testimonial.
